Albert Antonyan, MD

Biography

Dr. Antonyan is a Board Certified Dermatologist and a Board Certified Micrographic Dermatologic Surgeon (Mohs surgeon), who specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of conditions involving the skin, hair, and nails in patients of all ages. As a Board Certified Micrographic Dermatologic Surgeon (Mohs surgeon), Dr. Antonyan also specializes in the removal of specific types of high-risk and complex skin cancers that are best suited to treatment with micrographic surgery. He grew up in Southeast Michigan, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Detroit Mercy. He went on to graduate with High Distinction and Comprehensive Honors from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Antonyan completed his internship at Wayne State University School of Medicine where he served as Chief Resident of his Transitional Year residency program. He then completed his dermatology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan where he also served as Dermatology Chief Resident. Dr. Antonyan is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the California Medical Association, and the Los Angeles County Medical Association.
